Supersonic Life
On February 16 2001 my friend SQNLDR Murray Neilson, the Commanding Officer of No. 2 Squadron Royal New Zealand Air Force, died instantly when the A4 Skyhawk Jet he was piloting crashed into dense bushland not far from the perimeter of the air base.
Inspired by his stories and his dedication to the job he loved, we decided to produce this documentary as a tribute to a man whose friendship will never be replaced, nor forgotten.
Supersonic Life allows the viewer to glimpse into the lives of real fighter pilots, in the months prior to the disbanding of New Zealand's Air Attack Force. These fighter pilots also had one of the lowest hard-decks in the world, a minimum flying altitude of only 50 feet - and you'll see it reflected on this action packed DVD. Is it any wonder these pilots were head hunted by air forces around the world!

The Avalon 2009 Australian International Airshow saw the controlled release of this documentary as part of a marketing package associated with the Defence Force DVD series.
Copies were and continue to be restricted to key individuals within aerospace companies and defence contracting entities that we consider may be a good fit for advertising within the DFDVD series.
The lack of effective anti-piracy measures currently prevent the release of this title to the general public.
